In a recent interview Forbes with Kari Aina Eik, the United Nations said the following: ….cities is highlighted by the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, Michael Møller: “It’s particularly important that cities become partners in our search for a better world and ensure that the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are being implemented. Most people on this planet live in cities. Cities provide us with services; cities are where we’ll nurse our children, and all aspects of human life.”
Kari Aina Eik will share her passion on making every city more sustainable and is looking to meet city officials, entrepreneurs and influencers in Los Angeles who share that vision.
She is accompanied by Danny Frietman, serial (Dutch) tech entrepreneur and recent winner of the personality award of the municipality of The Hague. Danny Frietman is an entrepreneur and key driver of new initiatives in the enterprise mobile & digital market. With a key focus on sharing knowledge between end-users, he has created an eco-system which is tailored to address specific needs in this challenging market, off- and online. Danny is the co-founder of Enterprise Summit, responsible for New Dutch Wave during SXSW and Dutch pavilions during Mobile World Congress and Smart City Expo. He is also co-founder of MobileMindz, the Enterprise App Store and is investor in multiple ventures, recently in Indian Blockchain scale-up Krypc. His ventures and organizations are structured around the Dutch Tech Group.
Danny will share his vision on a collaborative world, where change starts by connecting people to people in an ever changing and challenging world.
LUMO Labs Founder, Andy Lurling is a Dutch serial entrepreneur in the high tech and creative industries. LUMO Labs is a two year venture builder program that besides providing seed funding, actively supports entrepreneurs with a ”hands on” approach.
