Pro Soccer Planner (PSP), a complete age-specific and methodical soccer curriculum, produced by VTON from the Netherlands, is officially taking a jump start into the United States soccer market in collaboration with HUP. PSP uses mobile devices like smartphones and tablets to provide youth coaches and associations full support and guidance during soccer training sessions, with the use of animations and videos.

VTON founder Richard Elsinga participated on a trade mission to New York City in the summer of 2017, organized by Dutch Sports Infra Structure (DSI) and HUP. During the trip, Dutch sports tech companies were introduced to American sports organizations, with the goal of creating opportunities for growth in the USA. Elsinga has years of experience of playing and coaching in the United States and knows first hand that PSP can help many clubs and coaches create a more fun and educational soccer experience.

With HUP founder Sacha van der Most van Spijk’s background in professional youth development in the United States, PSP found an excellent match for collaboration and expansion in the United States. Over the last year VTON and HUP have worked together on finetuning PSP, and now feel confident the product is ready for release in the USA.

PSP provides clubs with an age-specific curriculum with two sessions per week. If coaches want to add more activities to their training plan, they can choose complete sessions from the database, or even develop their own curriculum with help of an 850+ exercises database.

During a recent visit to HUP’s headquarters in Los Angeles, Elsinga and van der Most visited several potential clients and signed an official collaboration agreement. “We are excited to take this next big step with Pro Soccer Planner, and look forward to a successful collaboration with HUP” commented Elsinga.
